I chose this quote because it comes from the Reyna Grande while she is on her journey of becoming a published author. I found inspiration in the fact that even though Reyna has felt alone in the past, she still views it as her role to encourage and help others through her own past. As we read through her book A Dream Called Home we are able to see and sympathize with some of her struggles, as Reyna tells her story of overcoming trials of becoming a writer.
